Description: The Manufacturing Committee organized a factory visit to Crown Beverage Cans to learn about their experience of managing a factory in Shanghai. PSB gave a talk on the theory of 6 Sigma and shared some practical experience of implementing 6 Sigma.

40th National Day Dinner
Pudong Shangri-La
Description: About 1,000 Singaporeans and friends braved the typhoon to celebrate the 40th National Day of Singapore. This 5-hour event was filled with performances, speeches, lucky draws. It was a good time to meet old friends and make new ones. Among the VIPs were Ambassador Chin and CG Chia. Representatives from other business clubs in Shanghai and various Singapore clubs around China were also present.

Description: The biannual gathering attracted over 80 people with some coming from Fuzhou, Guangzhou and even Singapore. Mr Khoo Wee Meng, the main organizer, reckons that about 15 schools were represented that night.
